Play
The Play mode is the main place for direct robot control.
It is the fastest way to confirm that the robot is connected, moving correctly, and ready for games or testing.
What you can do in Play
- open ready-made control cards such as
Fighter Bot - create your own control cards
- edit widget layouts
- share custom controls
- test sounds, lights, screen content, and movement
Control cards
Controls are organized as cards. Each card opens a widget screen for a specific play mode or custom setup.
Press and hold a card to open card-level actions:
- delete a model
- duplicate a model
- share a model with others
- factory reset a factory model
To create a new card, use Add new.
Fighter Bot
Fighter Bot is the default Dotbot Flip battle controller.
It is the easiest way to test whether the robot is working correctly after setup.
Typical controls include:
- driving arrows
- a speed toggle
- arm control
- a honk button
- battery status
- a Quick Setup button
- the connection indicator
Use Fighter Bot to test:
- forward and backward driving
- left and right turning
- arm movement
- sound output
Quick Setup
Quick Setup is a shortcut for parameters you may want to change often during use.
Depending on the current control card, it can be used for things such as:
- screen content
- LED color
- other frequently adjusted settings
