Quick Start
This guide helps you power the board and test a motor for the first time.
What you need
- Smart Motor Control Board
- USB-C PD power supply or supported external power source
- One DC motor
- Two motor wires
Step 1: Connect power
Power the board using a supported input source.
See the Power Guide for safe power options.
Step 2: Connect a motor
Connect your motor to the first motor output.
Check polarity and make sure wiring is secure.
Step 3: Turn the board on
The touchscreen should show the main status screen.
Step 4: Open the motor test screen
Use the touchscreen UI to open the motor test page.
Step 5: Move the motor
Use the speed control to spin the motor slowly.
If the motor spins in the wrong direction, reverse the direction in software or swap the motor wires.
