Game Modes
Dotbot Flip supports both competitive and single-player activities.
Versus mode
In a versus match, two robots face off and try to flip each other over. Success depends on:
- positioning the arm correctly
- controlling traction and turning
- timing the lifting action
- avoiding the opponent's arm
This mode rewards both driving skill and smart programming.
Single-player challenges
Dotbot Flip can also be used for solo tasks, such as collecting small objects and moving them into a separate area.
Single-player modes are useful for:
- practicing precise driving
- improving arm control
- testing autonomous behaviors
- running repeatable workshop exercises
Custom activities
Because the robot supports app-based programming, you can create your own rules, sounds, and LED effects for custom battle formats or classroom challenges.
